Historical, cultural and natural tour

 

Day 1: Arrive to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. English speaking guide will meet you in the arrivals hall at Chinggis  khaan airport. Transfer to the hotel and check in to your room. Guide will introduce tour itinerary and remind required information. (D)









Day 2:
Discover Ulaanbaatar city tour: Sukhbaatar Square located in the heart of the city and will see the transition of historical buildings and nomadic city life into urbanization. National History Museum which has rich history over 2200 years, glorious, violent and noble past, from prehistory to Soviet period, including the establishment of the great Mongolian Empire by Chinggis Khaan. In the afternoon visit to Bogd Gegeen VIII winter palace museum. (You will see the original), There is an unusual vast wealth of artifacts on display. Next, visit to the Gobi cashmere outlet shop. After, you can see a live performance of Mongolian folklore Tumen Ekh Ensemble. At the end of your tour,  guide will take you to your hotel.  B.L.D

 

Day 3: Fly to the eastern part of Mongolia  in vast steppe in Dornod,  from Ulaanbaatar city to Choilbalsan city by a domestic flight. Transfer to the hotel in Choibalsan city. Go to see an Ancient historical and Ethnics museum, Natural history museum. After, to see Mongolian traditional performance at the theater. (B.L.D)

 







Day 4: You will see the most beautiful sunrise from Dornod huge steppe. Chinggis khaan’s mother Oulen, his queen Borte Ujin, also from farther east, his second and third queens from Tatar tribes are also were born in this historical area.  Next, visit to Buir lake. It is ranked 6th place out of 4100 lakes of Mongolia and very unique and soft sand dunes. Stay in a tourist ger camp nearby lake and rest.  To the lake, you will drive 300 km to the Buir lake, mountains and hills are covered by tall grasses and bushes. You will enjoy looking at herds of galloping horses and gazelles. You will have a fresh water fish dinner. (B.L.D)

 

Day 5: In the morning, you can drive to Janraisag Buddha Avalokiteśvara which is compassion image of Buddha.  40m tall horizontal sculpture Buddha was built on the ground. You can see 30m tall copper Janraisag sculpture in the Gandan monastery in Ulaanbaatar city. In the afternoon, travel to Mongolian-Japanese cold war historical places, historical artifacts, monument for Mongolian and Russian soldiers. You can explore the Victory museum and statue. Stay at local hotel. (B.L.D)

 



Day 6: Early in the morning, drive back to Choibalsan city. Enjoy the territory border between Mongolia and China. There is no border lines the countries surrounded by the ocean. The country like Mongolia has a territorial border which has one of the important symbol of the country. Visit to a nomadic family where soldiers guard the border. In the afternoon, come back to Choibalsan city and take a rest. (B.L.D)






Day 7: Fly back to Ulaanbaatar city by domestic flight. You can go for a shopping to buy some souvenirs at Nomin Department Store. Stay and take rest at hotel. (B.L.D)
