Itinerary

Travel by a domestic bus to Dalanzadgad city (610 km). Dalanzadgad is the center of the southernmost province, South Gobi, located 540km south of Ulaanbaatar city. Stay overnight in a guest house nearby the Yol valley named after the Bearded Vulture. (45km by car)

In the morning hiking in the Yol and Dungenee valleys. Drive to the largest and most impressive white sand dunes in Mongolia, Khongor sand dunes (Singing dunes) stretches about 180km. Camelback riding to the bottom of the sand dunes and hike up to the top (20km by car, 4km by camel). Stay overnight in a ger guest house nearby the Khongor sand dunes.

Drive to Khavtsgait rock paintings dates back to 8000 BC and 3000 BC. On the way, we will stop by the Bulgan soum for lunch. Visit Bayanzag -Flaming Cliffs, known by dinosaur fossils and eggs (180km by car). Stay overnight in tourist camp.

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar city by a domestic bus. (40km by car, 610km by bus)
